“…where excellent teaching begins…”

A message from Colchester SCITT!

We thought you might be interested to know that we are currently recruiting trainees onto our teacher training programme.

School-centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) is a school based post-graduate programme for training teachers. The Colchester Schools’ SCITT Consortium is a strong partnership of twelve first class secondary schools and colleges in the Colchester area (see below). The main goal of the Consortium is to provide the very best initial teacher training opportunities possible and the Consortium specialises in running modern and up-to-date training programmes for would-be teachers who wish to train and work in secondary education (11+). Please see the advert below.

a TEACHER?

“…teaching is like no other career. It gives you the opportunity to influence young minds, to shape lives for the better. It will change your life too. You’ll find it intellectually stimulating, creative and endlessly varied. Every day brings a fresh challenge…”

If you would like to know more about a career in teaching (secondary: Maths, English, Science, Languages, PE or ICT) then please contact Helena Boast (Consortium Director), Colchester Scitt, Sir Charles Lucas School, 01206 792229 or email enquiries@colchesterscitt.co.uk
